For this pendant lamp, the design by startup Lumic Ligthart has been crafted from stacked sheets of Smoked Plexiglas. The sheets are custom-cut and brought together at various angles to form a faceted, crystal-like whole, interspersed with visible brass mounting points and Edison filament bulbs.
The design
The lamp consists of dozens of individual smoked plexiglass plates that, layer by layer, form a three-dimensional pattern. Filament bulbs are integrated between the plates, causing the whole to light up from within, making the interplay of material, angle, and light decisive for the final result.
