Planobond
Planobond, also known as
Planobond is a high-quality aluminum composite panel (ACP/ACM), also known as an aluminum sandwich panel, Alupanel, Vibond, or Dibond. The panel consists of a three-part sandwich construction: top layers of 0.3 mm thick aluminum with a core of strong polyethylene plastic. This combination makes the sheet not only durable, but also resistant to various chemicals such as acids, oils, and strong solvents, and insensitive to temperature fluctuations.
One of the main advantages is its light weight, which ensures easy transport and handling. Thanks to the sturdy core, the flat aluminum surface offers excellent resistance to bending, making it ideal for printing: UV printing techniques make it possible to print images directly and razor-sharp onto the panel.
Planobond is versatile and easy to work with: sawing, contour routing, gluing, and bending (using a V-groove) are all among the possibilities. That makes the material perfect for outdoor signage, exhibition stand and display construction, and facade cladding, where the quality is maintained for years.
