For this project by Braat Visual Creations, AcoFelt was processed into strips and contour shapes that follow a round, organic line. By providing the back of the material with V-shaped incisions, the felt bends without visible seams or sharp creases. The result: a fluid shape that cannot be achieved with flat sheet materials, while retaining the sound-absorbing properties of recycled PET felt.
Textured wall decor
In a home office, AcoFelt strips (color 960) have been used to create a curtain-like wall decoration. The V-cuts on the back give each strip the freedom to bend, creating a wavy relief against the wall as a whole. This results in a soft, warm wall finish that simultaneously contributes to the acoustics of the workspace.
Die-cut wall covering
At the staircase setup, the same material has been die-cut and glued directly to the wall. The semicircular profiles follow the shape of the stairs and give the space a tactile, warm finish without compromising the acoustic performance of the felt.
