Over Plano Plastics

The history of Plano Plastics

  1. Two old Plano Plastics brochures with the previous logo

    1994

The start of a family business

Plano Plastics starts in Mierlo as a small wholesale supplier of plastic sheet material. There is no grand plan, but rather the determination to help customers personally and quickly. That mentality remains intact to this day.

  2. Old answer card from Plano Plastics with the address Hastelweg 260C in Eindhoven

    1998

    To Hastelweg in Eindhoven

Four years later, Mierlo is already too small. Plano moves to the Hastelweg in Eindhoven, where the wholesale business continues to grow and the first own brochures are released.

  3. Entrance to the Plano Plastics building on Hurksestraat in Eindhoven, with the logo on the yellow facade

    2001

    Hurksestraat 2B, Eindhoven

Three years later, the move to the Hurksestraat follows, in the rear two halls of number 2B. In addition to trade, more and more processing is being added: sawing, milling, and custom gluing for the customer.

  4. Employees on a lift are installing the Plano Plastics Group sign on the facade on Hurksestraat

    2013

    Relocation to Hurksestraat 2A

Plano is moving to number 2A. With more floor space and more machines, Plano is growing into a company with wholesale and processing under one roof.

  5. Aerial photo of the new building of Plano Plastics on the Habraken business park in Veldhoven

    2019

    New construction at Habraken, Veldhoven

Plano is moving into a new building at the Habraken business park in Veldhoven: 13,000 m², 80 employees, and 54 machines. Everything we have in-house, in one location.

  6. Steel structure of the second new building next to the main building in Veldhoven, with a crane and aerial work platform

    2021

New construction for UWC and Alucobond

Next to the main building, a second new construction will be built for bulk storage and the processing of UWC and Alucobond. This ensures there is still room to grow.
